Equipment for your horseback ride

To participate in horseback riding with Cheval Cathare, we recommend that you bring: 

• Riding helmet
• 1.5 L water bottle
• Sleeping bag (comfort 10°); for Isards, Lakes and Escapade hikes, bring a warm sleeping bag (comfort 0C° / +5C°).
• Pocket knife - phone charger
• A headlamp
• A cap or hat for the sun
• A waterproof rain jacket that covers the thighs
• Waterproof overtrousers
• A pair of walking shoes (preferably waterproof) with chaps or mini-chaps
• Riding breeches or jeans-type pants that you feel comfortable riding in
• A scarf to protect the neck or face
• A pair of high-protection sunglasses
• Cotton T-shirts + long-sleeved shirts (for protection from the sun) or a T-shirt made of quick-drying technical fabrics
• A light fleece or equivalent + a warm fleece or equivalent
• Toiletries (and towel) 
• A change of pants (hiking or jeans or equivalent)
• A bathing suit
• A pair of sneakers or light shoes for the evening
• Several pairs of socks
• A pair of gloves to protect you from the sun, cold and friction
• Depending on your requirements, I can lend you a large rain cape, water bottle, sack sheet...
